I executed all of my reps super smoothly. Like, super smoothly. I felt like I traveled so fast. My knee left and back kicks felt elite. Now, with that being said, I did not time this workout so I have no idea if I was really going fast or not. For all I know, I could have been at 6 minute pace. But I really felt like I was going at 400 repeat pace (maybe a notch slower) without almost any strain.
I did another workout a while back with the team that was harder in effort, but I did not feel as fast. My teammate assured me it was a good workout, so I took his word for it. Comparatively, me and him spanked the other varsity guys. I just remembered having to focus much harder on not letting the pace drop. It didn't seem like the scenery was passing by too fast and my leg action wasn't there as much. Despite all of that, the workout was still "good".
I have a feeling this is going to be a good season.
