I'm running my first 6k next week. I don't really have a baseline 5k because it was a complete disaster and I ended up walking and finishing 3 mins off my PR of low 21s. I haven't been feeling really all that good recently and I'm not sure why.
In order to prevent my race from falling apart again (and dealing with the extra kilometer), here's what I'm thinking based on my current fitness:
1 mile: 7:15-7:20 pace
2 mile: 7:15
3 mile: 7:10
0.7: ~7:00-7:10
thoughts?
PRs are 5:43 mile, only ran a 3200 once and got 12:59, and 5k of 21:05 (usually run in 21s and 22s).
Right now I've been feeling really crappy and don't have high hopes for this.
