If you were smarter you would recognize that Webb would have likely run a 3:44 mile in today’s spikes and a 3:51 in high school. You made an ignorant assertion. I schooled you and you remained recalcitrant in your unusual combo of ignorance and arrogance. Webb also ran 1:43 and Hocker likely never will. Please educate yourself grasshopper.
Oh the old "woulda coulda shoulda" argument. Woulda this, woulda that - sure pal.
Well since Alan ran all his meaningful PRs (800,1500 and the mile in 2007 at the age of 24) we can't really use that as any form of comparison right now because Cole Hocker is just 20.
And when both were 20 this is how it reads - indisputable, absolute facts.
800m: 1.46.39 (Hocker) vs 1.47.74 (Webb)
1500m: 3.31.40 (Hocker) vs 3.38 (Webb)
Mile: 3.50.55 (i) (Hocker) vs 3.53.43 (Webb).
So that's kind of the end of it really. Yet another fool rocks up to a gun fight with a rubber knife.
Hey also nice work with the thesaurus.com plug - "recalcitrant". Not really the right word in context as I don't need to be cooperative with you on anything let alone your poorly thought out statement but it was a nice attempt to add some kind of "intellectual vibe" to your comeback that you probably assume makes it carry more weight. Sadly for me it makes you look even more stupid because you didn't really use the right word. "Belligerent" would have been better.
You want any more of this? It's anonymous - you can stop you know.
