I’m a senior high school runner and I’ve been suffering with ITBS for around 6 months now. I had about a 2 month span in the summer of very low mileage but now it’s flared up again. I’m super annoyed with this and I feel like I’m just running into a wall over and over again. I’ve gone to 4 physical therapists, done countless hours of strength training for my hips and glutes, foam rolling, stretching, etc. I overpronate but have orthotics and I’m bowlegged. I feel pretty hopeless with my senior xc season right about now just because I don’t have much time left but I want to at least have a great final track season. If anyone can share how to get through this mentally and physically it’d be a lot of help cause I’m stressed and tired of this but willing to keep fighting.
