Different for everybody, but if it doesn’t ease up during your warmup or even intensifies, then don’t do it.
If it obviously changes your gait, go home.

If pain erupts or intensifies during a run, just stop as it’s neither fun nor worth the risk to continue. If pain reduces as you warm up, you typically won’t be doing immediate damage but risk slowly worsening or making chronic an existing injury.
Run today mentally prioritizing the goal of being able to run tomorrow.

When you're running along and start to think, " I sorta agree with the stuff Flagpole, Harambe and the other miserable beta losers on LR have been saying"
Time to go home and seek professional help.
Probably when you feel like this. "I'm pretty tired, I think I'll go home now".
