Sounds like she needs a role model
Sounds like she needs a role model
A different role model. Just because she is a black sprinter doesn't me she has to put on that ghetto gangster image. It's as fake as her stupid nails.
Disagree, it was basically another season opener for her after 2 months without races and obviously her and elaine arent equals but for comparison Elaine opened her season with an 11.21

Oh my, how the narrative has changed. The Sha'Carri hype train had this to say 72 hours ago:
"Sha'Carri will have fresh legs. She didn't run the rounds and do all races these others girls who were in Tokyo did. She will be rested and they will be tired."
"Sha'Carri has run 10.64w with a bad start, she will have used the time not in Tokyo to work on that and so she is ready for a legal 10.6x or even 10.5x"
"Sha'Carri is motivated to show everybody she would have medaled at the Olympics, maybe even won. Those Jamaican girls already have their medals, they won't be motivated. "
Now, this was like a season opener?
THIS WAS SHA'CARRI's OLYMPICS. This was her opportunity to bring some actual legitimacy to what she and her fans have been saying. Sponsors, were lined up to throw stupid money at her.
Instead, she ran her mouth at the end more than she ran her legs. It simply can't be logically defended.
This was the clean version. She will never break 11 again. She won't make the final at US champs.
The difference between 10.6 and 11-flat is doping.
Idgaf about anything else, she did trash but some people seem to think she won't go sub 11 and never get back to the level she was at before just because of 1 race
Sad but indicative of our values that Richardson's infantile rant after a dismal performance is the headliner on NBC this am and everywhere else while Thompson-Herah ran the 2nd fastest time ever and gets very little coverage from the main stream media.

Though underappreciated, the emotional/environmental struggle of being an athlete (or any profession, for that matter) is greater than the physical one. If the rest of your life isn't set, or at least empty, focusing on anything is so much more difficult.

Yes, we should get excited about doping in track.
Yes and we have proof that she is now an 11 second 100 meter runner. Her doped result was wiped out so you have no basis to say that she will run faster.
Its good for track. Its on national tv, everyone here is posting about her.
Mu needs some controversy so the media can talk about her. Doesn't have to be bad controversy, just something newsworthy, even if it's made up like SR's 'mom'
WHOOOPS!
she still has her 10.72, 10.74 and 10.77 into a headwind lol
Cash me outside howbow dah
Check on her test dates.

Sad thing is that girl rode her 15 minutes into millions.

Sha"Carri Is Injured obviously as proven by her not running the 200 she was scheduled to run Today, but she had too much class to use it as an excuse, She will still have a Much Better Career and run much faster than Elaine Thompson-Herah Next Season If her Injury is not too serious.
Hey Spicoli, take another rip off that Sha'Carri bong and call it a day. Your girl is a trainwreck! Did you actually use the word "Class" in reference to this illiterate wannabe diva?
Let us know what that "injury" is when you find out...MORON!

No, it wasn't good for track or anything at all. It was an absolute embarrassment to the sport, to Nike, and NBC. This is the exact reason major sponsors don't invest in track and field. You have a tatted up, long-nailed, overly made up, clown-haired stoner talkin' sh^t and what does "it" do? Sh^ts the bed on national t.v., and not only sh^ts the bed but rolls around in it by finishing DFL.
The only thing she accomplished is that she will now be a shining example to every aspiring female sprinter as to what "Not to be".
Thank God for Athing Mu and Allyson Felix, two amazing role models for young women everywhere.
Add Mclaughlin. Add Purrier. Add Cunningham. Add Purrier. There are so many great role models.
