Hey...Hey! Men can have boobs can't they? You should be careful about denying the science.

No she is not "definitely female". She definitely identifies as a woman. But her exact sex is messy, and it depends on what criteria you use. This is why she is intersex. It's a gray area.
This is why we need rules based on one's testosterone level...although even that isn't perfect due to enormous athletic benefits one gains from high testosterone throughout development. These advantages remain even with suppression in adulthood.
intersex athletes should not be allowed to compete in the female category.
End of.

All I can say is that I watched the women 100m and I will watch the women 200m. I did not watch any other races. I may watch the men 110H.
I think this is good for viewership.
0% chance that I would know who Ofili is otherwise
12.73!!! For Zhoya in the 110H

For you, that would be instructive.

I know this may be a simpletons take, so feel free to correct(or bash me since this is letsrun) but isn’t it weird that we find ways to make women who are good at sports unable to compete as females because they exhibit masculine traits? As in, the traits that would make one good at sports? Like say there is a woman who just DOES produce that much testosterone by some freak condition. Why is she not allowed to compete? As the female equivalent of Usain Bolt?
From a woman's perspective, all this looks like is enabling men to clean up womens' prizes.
As if being banned from running certain events before the 1980s wasn't enough, women now have to race against "people" with testes in races supposed to be for women.
There has never been a woman tested who has produced anywhere near the permissable limits on testosterone even in the restricted events from the 400m to the mile.

If you're asking a 5 year old about sex-anything, you sound like a pervert.

I have a penis, and I never ran 10s like other males either. I would probably have beaten the girls though

You mean to say a 5 yo doesn't know the definition of male v woman?

That's not true. Mboma is welcome to compete against regular women at her prefered distance of 400 m on a level playing field by reducing her T-levels to the female range. Mboma has opted not to compete on a level playing field, seeking instead to keep her unfair advantage by switching to 200 m where she's allowed to maintain a male hormone profile.
Can anyone explain to me why a woman with a female gender identity and functioning androgen receptors would want T-levels in the male range and the androgenization that comes with it?

No, he means you’re a pervert if you ask a five year old about sex. Got it now?
