I've always rolled onto the outside of my feet when running and it has never been a problem, but since starting marathon training and running 60-70 miles each week, the outside of my foot has become slightly inflamed where the bone protrudes out (I believe this may be called peroneal tendonitis)?
I've been running in the floatride energy 3 and the novablast. In the novablast it feels slightly worse, possibly because the foam is soft and collapses more on the outer edges.
Is there a shoe which can stop or reduce my supination? I have looked into this and brooks shoes with guide rails keeps coming up in searches, but is it a fad or do they actually work?
Thanks for any help
