I'm not into writing long posts but let me say, many websites that review running shoes, and I want to believe I know most of them, instead of REVIEWING they're into SELLING shoes. The most popular patterns I see are: most of the time the newer release is better than the previous one. Really? How many shoes got ruined by crazy updates pushed to the point of making the shoe unrecognizable? (Boston 10). Also, the reviewers sound like they are compelled to sound positive no matter what (few minor negatives don't really matter). Having done 3-4 runs it's not enough to give a comprehensive opinion on the shoes, especially to the crowd of people who listen to their wallets and can't afford shoes that are excellent till 100mile mark and later fall apart or at least significantly change their properties. You really have to dig into some youtube comments to find honest opinions from people who got more serious mileage and care to share more grounded comments that quite often differ or contradict the enthusiastic original review. Some websites want to look more pro by drowning you with tech details, still they fall victim to the same problem.
