There’s no reason why the “A” team (maybe Bednarek, Kerley, Bromell, Baker, and/or Lyles) shouldn’t have been running in the prelims. NOONE on the potential A team have run more the 3 races, none would still have individuals events to contest. IT’S 100 METERS!! And some legs on the relay aren’t even a full 100 meters lol
Baker is easily the best 60meter on the team. Why wasn’t he on lead off?
De Grasse won the 200 last night , got bronze in the 100, and still ran in the prelims the following morning (which looked like a really smart decision on Canada’s part as they were almost out of it before he brought them back in contention).
I think I’d rather the US drop the baton, than get theirs doors blown off by the other countries in their heat…
