Rogers beat her by a mere sliver. If Reekie hadn't blown everything trying to chase down Mu at 200m she would have had enough to hold on to the bronze. She was drowning over the last 30m.
Yes Rogers admits she saw Reekie rigging and it gave her the believability she needed to go crazy on that kick. If Reekie has saved up more and is closer to 14.8-15.0 for that last 100, I don’t think Rogers gets that special surge to reach her.

There's 2 full seconds from her 1.55 to a doped world record. You must be suggesting she is doping.
Or that Mu is just 19 and still developing as a pro athlete. Two seconds ain’t nothing, But she should still improve upon that this season. I know you’ve sort of painted yourself into a corner on this one, It’s ok to admit you are wrong :)
Sorry if somebody has already asked or posted, but does anybody have a link to the full, unedited version of the entire race?I can't seem to find it on youtube and even though I know the results, I really want to watch. Thanks!

I was one of those people. I did not expect the others to be as good as they were and thought they’d be at least another second back by the end. Mu was awesome as expected and it’s fairly clear we’ve not seen her best. I don’t think even Mu herself knows how fast she can go. In a TT with pacer/wave light she’s probably ready for low 154 in the very near future. WR will fall to her before she’s done.

Do you think she is? Honestly, I think she’s not. Just too young and new to being a pro runner. Anyway, she did not look very dressed today, she ran on the outside and she had to run alone with no pacing or wave light. Right now she probably can go out and run low 1:54 with the right set up. Yes, I think with a little more time and NO doping she will break the WR. She’s the exception to your rule, she will be a clean athlete who breaks a doped WR.

Funny typo….she did not look very stressed, not dressed. 🤦🏻♂️
Anyway, Mu is the one who has come to wreck your theories. Admit it! Tired of arguing about Hassan, but Mu….no she’s got it without the juice.
Where is the black page??? First women to win gold in 800 m EVER and first gold in a middle distance even for women since 1984?

Here we go again with your faulty logic.
1) No proof of Krato being a doper
2) Even if Mu runs 1:52 it would not have to mean that she is doping. Some people are just that talented and Mu is that kind of generational talent. She could be the greatest clean athlete that ever lived, men or women, period.
is it me or did Mu appear to have pierced nipples?

Huh? Assuming you meant “First American woman,” that’s incorrect. See:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Madeline_ManningAlso, the U.S. women didn’t win any mid-distance golds in 1984. You’re likely thinking of the inaugural World Championships in 1983.
A THING f*****g MU!!!
Giving the give. So f****** kunt. Way to go sis

Yep, they are pierced. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)
She's just run an amazing time. Do we have to talk about her nipples?
congrats to a great kid wrote:
If she put her mind to it she would also be an incredible 400 hurdler.
Athing Mu was asked about the 400 hurdlers earlier this year and she said that she would like to try it at some point.

She is just 19, you have to think that as she matures in the next 2-3 years she will be capable of running sub 49 for 400M and string together two 56.x laps, so 1:52 high or 1:53 low very possible. Let us hope she stays healthy, she should close out her season after the Olympics and not take any chances.
I did not get to go to Tokyo...
I did not get to see the heats, only the first one with Mu.
I haven't seen her finals win. The NBC coverage is very bad.
Hot take: She never improves beyond this performance.
I hope I'm wrong.
