Rough heat draw for the people’s champ Morgan. 😢
Knight looking good. Was 100/1 before the heats.
Looks like all small qs from heat 2. Smart or lucky?
Grijalva!
Grijalva through too

Pretty sure Grant hi-fived everyone but Morgan McDonald. What a boss not peaking in NCAAs
What the hell is Chelimo and his constant looking around? Run your damn race. And what's up with him hugging the Spanish runner before they have crossed the finish line. Cut that crap out.

Is he some kind of fan favorite? He looked unfit from the opening and didn’t give any challenge to Grijalva when he was passed.
heat 2 was hella stacked so forced some of the small fish to push the pace. Seemed fair

Looking at his watch throughout and stopped it at the finish. Nice hobbyjogger touch.

Chelimo is so much more fun and interesting than any other distant runner.
Since when does the USA come into a Hammer final with all 3 women in it? Possible 2 medals here?

he also looks very strong and def a medal contender imo despite how stacked this final is going to be

11th in an 18 man heat. Has to accept responsibility here.
Katir looks like an obvious podium lock.

I actually think the final is kind of weak. Wale not running well, Barega/Edris/Kejelcha/Ingebrigtsen not entered, that’s five of the best 10 or so performers not even in the thing.
Knighton up first. If he can stay calm, I think he's Top 2 and makes the final.
