wow. that was just unreal
Holy poop. That was a sight to behold.
I agree and give Warholm credit, he pulled away from Rai and I thought Rai would run him down.
I'm still stunned.
crazy-kudos to the Brazilian also-3 guys under Kevin Young's old 46.78 WR-formerly my favourite 400H race! if you had told me those times before these games I would say no f'ng way!
That was something, to be sure. Maybe not the best ever, but one of the best.
amazing x 4
Should have slowed down a bit to maintain some degree of plausibility

You can say that again. To the gills!!
the fact that this wasn't in front of a packed stadium is the biggest shame.
rai was close enough that he couldnt do that.

So did I. Rai ran 13s through the whole race and caught a bit to the 9th, but had to stride out tot he 10th a bit. Kartsten went 15s and chopped but hit the hurdle more smoothly and came off it with a bit better momentum. And there was no way anyone was coming past.
My son said this: If Rai runs 46.5, Karsten runs 46.4. If Rai runs 46.0, Karsten runs 45.9. I tipped Rai to run 46.4 and win - I was close on half of it...
OMG. Was already my favorite runner and just exceeded my expectations by 10x.

I've already commented this on every other post, but I can't help it. Rai honestly had no real chance to run him down after the first three-quarters of the race - Warholm posted splits of 20.4 at 200, and 31.8 at 300. No one in history will be able to match that kind of opening salvo in this event, at least not for decades.
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
