And you have child pornography on your computer. I just know this.
You know it because you are speaking from experience?
I think she should run the race backwards to make it competitive.

you have to be joking. the fall took off at least 13 seconds. she basically ran her PR time after falling down.
She was on the ground for 13 seconds?
I can't wait until someone makes a dramatic Instagram video with subtitles about not giving up like they do every time this happens at a high school dual meet
An American would just have given up after the fall and be celebrated for conserving energy. Great run by hassan and the mentality you need to win

And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me

The moment she fell I told my GF she'll get up and win. She'll catch them in the next 200
Haha that’s funny! Someone on LetsRun has a girlfriend?

More than mentality. Something a little stronger. Like a burrito.

Yes, because the time you spend kn the ground is the only thing that slows you down after you fall. She’s immediately back to her top speed.

Yes, I said it before, when you run away from the best in the world in the last 400 (Except for last Kipyegon race) like you are doing 400 repeats on fresh legs, I have suspicions, as she does so often. This case, was a even more egregious version of that. She didnt just fall, she fell just as the pack ramped up last lap push, and she still ran them down like they were jogging and went by them. This stinks.
Some people are just better I get that, but in a peer group of genetic mutants who all work hard, you should not be doing things that nobody else can do, like its easy.
Hassan just easily won the 5K.
She is arguably the GOAT of women's distance running

Just curious, how then do you explain the careers of Jim Thorpe, Jesse Owens, Michael Jordan, Kevin Durant (I've never seen anyone score the ball so easily as KD)?

Imagine comparing distance running to sprinting or any team sport. Genetics only gets you so far in this field. Boomer take 1000 in this thread.

We used to say that about Lance in cycling. But it's the same story. Too good to be true.

LOL this has got to be a joke.
Its Ma's Army all over again. When a runner can just outclass other top athletes and can break times set by runners that were part of a state sponsored doping program, people just have to face reality. Even in dirty sports there were certain competitors that doped all in, and they performed accordingly.
The commentators were talking in the 5000m about how they couldn't let Hassan stay up with them as if she had by far the best closing speed of anyone because she's by far the best 1500m runner in the field. I was thinking, maybe. Obiri has outkicked many as good in the past. As it turned out, Obiri did not have much of a kick and Hassan wiped the field out, not even needing to really go until 200 left.
Hassan needs to refrigerate all her samples urgently and agree to undertake the Paula Radcliffe brainwave lie detector test
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
RENATO can you talk about the preparation of Emile Cairess 2:06
