Definitely a pure hate move. Nonetheless, this event is still Kipyegon's to lose. It's Faith's world, and we're all living in it.

It’s a legendary move. No complaints, no appeals. She just picks herself up and runs on pure hate passing everyone.
+1

The new definition of pure hate.
She definitely didn't appear hurt.

Could have settled for top 6 but can't stop on pure hate
I think it was a case of so much momentum between 200 and 100 she rolled past the field in neutral.
This post was removed.

Friggin' unbelievable!!! Just wow!!
Exactly my thought.
waaayyy too many people in the heats... spread them out over an extra heat or two and let the best runners make it thru
It was also lucky she fell in the slow heat. In the last heat she would have needed to make up a lot more ground to get into the top 6. But then again if she was In the same heat as Kipyegon she probably would not have been lollygagging along at the back.

I bet u not would talk trash to her face. She has extremely strong legs and could easily strangle you with them.

if she was paying attention to other races, she should have walked the last 400 and then protested. They probably would have advanced her straight to the final, skipping the semi altogether.
Yeah she was impeded through no fault. Walk to the finish line and protest. But leaves it to chance.
By sprinting she's leaving the 5k up to chance. She may have just screwed over her 5k in 12 hours.

She could win running backwards and this board would still buy it.
Her coach said that she was not injured and didn’t even seem affected by the fall. Still picking her to win the 5k.

Yes. I would. The only way I would question her is if she claimed she ate a pork burrito.
That’s why she’s the women’s distance goat. What she’s done the past two or three year at any distance is amazing.
Ridiculous that she can even try this triple but people can’t do the 400/200 double. Wtf ioc?

Are you, like, into being dominated by masculine women? Not going to kink shame (too much) but your comment is frigging bizarre and way out of context here.
You can only run the 800 on pure hate.
You never saw anyone fall down, get up and run well ?

Legend already but I guess if she doesn't get multiple medals no one will care. She's got the 5k final in 12 hours.
Thoughts on how much that will affect her?
She was just tapering with the 1500 run in preparation for the 5K tomorrow.

I tripped on curb about 6 weeks ago and finished my jog with no issue or pain. A few hours later I started to hurt and was sore for a few days. I’m about 40 years older that her, but was going so much faster that me. I hope her young body doesn’t begin to hurt and feel sore.
How is it that she is so much better than every one else in pretty much everything at or above 1500m? Save the sole Kenyan it's not even close. Just supremely gifted like Usain Bolt eh?
