Why did the Moroccan quit with 200m to go?
Dropped her EPO on the track

That was very odd, just quit the race, broke stride, which really sucked for the runner right behind her.

Arafi nearly caused a pileup by just stopping on the track instead of stepping off. She eventually started drifting towards lane 2. Very odd.
Looks like she lost her shoe on the track. Heel stepped on?
Dunno but it was infuriating how she just stopped forcing two women to go through her.

That was really frustrating to see not only for her, but for those behind her. Marta pen had a full head of steam and looked great but slammed into Arafi who was literally walking. So unfortunate for pen Freitas.

super impressive, but she has a 5k final in less than 12 hours? and im sure that will take a toll
If it doesn't take a toll, will further substantiate her being doped to the gills...
I agree she is ......not human

Yeah, what the hell? She didn't appear injured. Heat exhaustion? It looks like she just quit the race with 200 to go and a chance to qualify.
She has a serious resume, too. She was 7th and 9th in the 800 and 1500 in Doha, 8th in the 1500 in London, 12th in the 1500 in Rio, and 4th and 9th in the 800 and 1500 in Beijing.

didn't hassan run that 3:51 a few days after the 10k record? I think she'll be ok.
and the 10k record isnt hers anymore. and the current record holder will be running fresh. the issue isnt with how she performs, but her competition. its almost disrespectful in a way lol.

I didn't see her lose a shoe in the replay; she just stopped running. Like Forrest Gump, she just inexplicably stopped.
If only Shelbo preferred Dunkin to burritos
What happened to praught leer? Was she tripped like Hassan?

I think his point was her recovery is good.
BUT... Hassan ran 3:53 while Kipyegon ran the 3:51 to beat her.
So, yeah, Hassan will be right in her 3 events, but because of the triple I don't consider her the favorite in the 1500 or 10,000.
She’s running on a serious injury
Anyone know the story with the dark sand in the jumping pit?
The sand in the 1991 Worlds (the Powell vs Lewis classic) was light colored.
