Im openly biased, but I really think Murphy has the tactics and the wheels to have the best shot at gold. Amos has the wheels but he races very recklessly, I bet bronze or a burnout for him, and I see rotich and Murphy being gold and silver interchangeably

Completely agree! Murphy has another gear and will show it in the final. Rotich has historically looked great in the rounds and summoned a solid but not great performance in the finals. I like how Murphy has squeaked through with good tactics, and I expect he leaves it all out there with a really good last lap tomorrow.
Murphy
Amos
Bol

On wednesday I think. Rotich clearly has looked the best and he has 2 days completely off now. Maybe Amos can rest up until then. I think Murphy is a very strong contender for any medal. Dobek top 4.
I'll go Rotich - Amos - Murphy - Dobek. But at the same time, Amos seems to have a gold or nothing mindset so he probably will go extremely hard early in the last lap, which might see him either run away from everybody or bomb or get 7th. I feel more certain in a Murphy medal. Bol has to get a shout as well at this point.

Im gonna have to agree with these two posts. Korir or Amos will either take it out and Rotich will be right behind them. Murphy will out kick everyone the last 50m when everyone tying up.
However, Rotich is a fast finisher too don’t sleep on him.
Rotich
Murphy
Amos
i think rotich, murphy and amos are a likely top 3, but i have no idea about the order and really it still seems like an open race.
Rotich
Bol (as much as it pains me as an Aussie)
Amos

Can't disagree with this. If it's just running, as in having a Rudisha in the race or a Monaco-type time trial, then Amos. But with the pressure and tactics of an Olympic final I think his gold medal chances drop considerably.
I had Amos, Jewett, and Murphy. Now I think Rotich, Bol and Tuka
Rotich
Amos
Bol
Murphy / Dobek
Tuka
1 Dobek
2 Murphy
3 Tual
