They will need to move the board back some or her second jump will take her all the way to the pit one of these days. Could jump 16m in this lifetime peak shape.
1.92m, always slim, but in Rio she still had some tiny amount of body fat/baby fat at 20 years old.
Great stuff. I have always been an Ibarguen fan, but this was great to see
What’s extra amazing is how good she is despite having a pretty terrible step phase. But her hop and jump are otherworldly

15.90 would be about the performance level of mens 18.29. I think she will end up there in a year or two. Women's long jump and triple jump have been long overdue for WR. Men's as well.

Exactly. That's why I'd expect her long jump to be better than 6.88m. I'm not a jumper though, so I don't have a good sense of what's realistic. Maybe all those 7.5m marks from the 80s are testo boosted?

Bit of a question on this athlete in a Caster way. Not to that extreme but it's definitely there.
Based on what?
No, she can't take down the LJ WR.
All those 7.5m jumps? Try only ONE (7.52m WR) you willfully uneducated nimrod.

Oh sorry, 7.43, 7.44, 7.45, 7.45, 7.45, and 7.45m... But you knew what I meant. Are you angry about something or is name calling just your normal way of conversing?

Big personalities these Afro-Latinas. Loved Ibarguen, adore Rojas. Charisma in spades. New face of the sport?
