Jon also wants to know if Borneo talked to Lewis johnson but the international feed I’m watching does have Lewis johnson.

I have a samsung smart tv. I'm streaming via my tv.
There will probably be nobody pushing this but the most pressing change in athletics should be the women's 100m hurdles (and then their other hurdles/steeples). In the 100m hurdles they are performing a truly different event from the men' because the hurdles are way too low and this changes more than the weight differences or even the differences in steeple. It would be more challenging and more interesting immediately, I think.
I missed it, did Bromell thank God in his interview?

holy sh*t, 12.26 in the semi heat from Quinn
Yeah, holy shlt. Shades of the men’s 110mH this season
peacock played the 2nd and 3rd heat of mens 100. otherwise it's been gymnastics. have had to watch on nbcolympics.com

Is the meet on peacock ? Or only way to watch on computer now? Is anyone watching on tv ? Usually I have on tv and computer but haven’t found it yet on tv
Got it on Peacock with British announcers and no commercials.

there is a history to the events and times. there will be no change. im not sure about hurdles, but in the steeple, the womens times line up very well with the mens times comparing ratios with flat 3k times. So it is fine.

Actually it has the NBCSports logo on the screen and says internet. But it's on TV. This Olympics is confusing.

If the machine is not working. Go old school. My god.
There was a delay of many minutes after the first false start. Lucky we're not on the old false start rules or we'd be here for days.

Here’s where Su entered the basic list, and where I waxed. I was right, the most remarkable exhibition of 100m excellence ever...maybe until now! Lol

Of 9Om excellence, last 10 wasn't great except for his one shoulder dip at the line.

have asians historically been faster than white guys in the sprints?
that shocked me
I haven't kept up, but I think Su and possibly one other Chinese are sub 10 and two or three Japanese are also. This is in the past couple of years. I think Christophe LeMaitre was the first and maybe still only all white guy under 10. Others are mixed like Jacobs of Italy and a firmer Australian sprinter. I just looked it up and Su was there first Asian under 10.
Wow - Rojas just missed world record on her first jump
Rojo, I mean Rojas just misses WR TJ.
My only gripe about the CBC broadcast is that they have no interest in showing J Harrison's high jump attempts. Don't know how he is doing but Barshim seems in form to win it
+ 1
Rojas just jumped an Olympic record 15.41m in the TJ final for her opener, would be cool to see a Venezuelan win in that event. Left a decent amount of space for improvement on the takeoff as well
LFG DOBEK! First heat easier than 2 and 3
