For sure! He would have followed that up by finding a cure for cancer and single handedly defeating the Italians in a soccer match. Too bad he only entered the 1500, He probably just wanted to leave some glory for the mere mortals of the world.
The 5K is the only remaining distance race worth watching, mostly because Katir and maybe Muktar. The 1500 is going exactly like you know it will, and the marathon will be some East African, Kipchoge, and a Japanese dude. It should be fun watching Rupp fall back, though.

Right. It was predictable that Coe would win the 1500 in 1984, Mark Spitz woukd win 7 Gold Medals and a young Mike Tyson would knockout anyone that got in his path, but yeah, it was all boring.
Ingribitzen is young, it's been almost 2 years since Doha and it's very possible he has closed the gap. Without being sick before Monaco, he might have won the race.
