Talou can't run that fast. Fast track, high humidity...no doubt.

Ta Lou just ridiculous! One of the greatest starts I’ve ever seen.

LOL...she had the slowest reaction time in the field
The USA stream on my Roku is 2:05 behind the NHK stream.

The following NHK gives one non-interrupted feed from the stadium. The stadium announcer is hard to hear/understand. But I assume there are no commercial breaks or breaking away to highlight field events in the middle of a running event. Results are also posted quickly. There is no color commentary. They 100m heat results are up before the heat begins on my USA stream from my Roku. After the first heat of the 3000sc thing evening the USA stream was one minute behind the CBC.ca stream. VPN required for access. They spent a lot of camera time on the woman before their heat begins so you get more of a feel of what it must be like waiting.
Yea I watched some of the NBC feed and tbh it hasn't been awful, but I'm on the NHK feed now because it has picture-in-picture setting and more up-to-date results. Usually they have two English commentators on but I guess they didn't hire any for this session so it's just stadium announcer which is interesting.
I'm using ProtonVPN free plan to watch, rarely you will get an "access denied" error if that happens just turn the VPN off and on so you get a different Japanese IP and try again.

Hate?? You don't understand it, because it's imaginary.
Fine, pick “pessimism” if you want to be a typical LRC pedant.
Hate is a very serious accusation. There is little pedantic about kmaclam's response.
Yes but after the first 5 meters she was electric
The stadium announcer is Geoff Wightman. Jake's dad.
So I guess not the start but 5 meters to 60 she was flying.
If SAFP lays down a third crazy fast Round 1 time, it'll confirm this track is crazy fast!
SAFP up in this heat, wonder if she'll have a response to Ta Lou and Thompson.
And she does, 10.84! Great times, glad to see this is a fast track
So much time between heats.

Maybe the 2 National records in that heat are a clue.
Crazy that Kambundji ran a Swiss record 10.95 only for it to be broken by del Ponte minutes later, 10.91. Both pulled to the record by Jamaicans
10.84 for SAFP.
The ladies came to play.

Probably a U.S. money thing. Got to get all those commercials in.

If Prandini runs a 10.90 they should check the distance.

I don't know how Americans put up with it but I guess we're being forced to put up with it now too if that's what the gaps are for.
Thanks for the info. After reading your comment about two English commentators I notice hovering over the screen shows a headphone image with ambience and english as two options. Both sound the same. Is that what you are talking about?
I just started viewing NHK stream at the start of the 100m heats. I have had no problem with my VPN provider, PIA. The CBC.ca stream did stop a few times on me. I am not sure if that was in issue with my Wifi connection, VPN, or my Chromebook. One of the two PIA Japan servers appears to be blocked.--tried two different days One of the Canadian city servers was blocked but another one worked.
CBC Canada has every minute of Athletics on stream . Bonus is no Alto Bolton , we get the BBC call.
