What was up with that? She actually had to surge forward just so she could give Mu a shove in the back.
Mu has incredibly long legs (just ask Nia Akins). You're going to see this a lot with Mu.

The defacto gold medalist from Rio?
Why do they say “Moe” instead of “Mew” for Athing?
Because he name is pronounced "Moe". Bigger question might be why it isn't spelled Mo.
I'm not sure why they have to point out where her parents are from, whether it's Ethiopia or South Sudan or Canada for all I care.

Because that's how her name is pronounced. Athing (Uh-thing) Mu (Moe)
Yeah makes sense. Like how nu is pronounced no.
Raevyn Rodgers clone ?
Montano holding her own with the commentary. Almanza led from the start, np.
Wish I could read what countries they are from. Those name bibbs are annoying.
Tough to see Bisset not make it

That's the dialect. Mzungu is actually pronounced Mzungo...which is what everyone on this board is.

She just said do-do LOL
Good link on the front page. This has been an uninterrupted stream.
Just mute the commentary. These people are idiots. What do you expect?
And the poster who doesn't know who Melissa Bishop is ... are you an NBC commentator?

Agreed
The bibs are always so needlessly big.

Problem?
wilson looks vulnerable
Ajee Wilson = sublime
Mu and Rogers looked great. Almanza looked very in control. Ajee let it come down way too close. That was scary to watch. She seems content to sit back and kick.
Did Melissa Bishop miss the next heat? Not great. They are refreshing stuff quick enough to really put it together.

Thanks kindly for posting this. Much better than the World Athletics site, at least for the track.
