I predict Biles craps herself and quits before the end. Slim chance I know but that is my pre-Olympicd prediction. Seems I forgot to hit enter previously.

Rupp wins gold, and lifts his shirt at the finish line to reveal a "Free Alberto" tattoo across his chest.
St Pierre outkicks Muir for Silver / Bronze (depends whether Hassan is running or not)
Hocker, Centro and Nuguse takes an early lead controlling the field from 100-1100 keeping a 3:45 pace. Spreading out wide on the straights, while also making it ridiculously expensive to overtake them on the turn. When the bell rings Nuguse hits the pedal. He has been instructed. Centro and Hocker are drafting closely behind while the rest of the field sadly have no response. Tim feels a nagging sensation in his hamstring at 1200 and DNFs. Jakob struggles with his vision after a mixture of sweat and sun lotion ran into his eyes.
At 1300 Centro and Hocker are side by side as if they were Vin Diesel and Paul Walker in the Fast & Furious franchise. Time to settle this once and for all. Centro looks at Hocker who's unsure about whether it's wise to partake in the forthcoming exchange. However, before he makes a conscious decision some unknown force causes him to meet Centro's eyes, and they share a moment. Be aware that this is all happening while they're running at about 18 mph, but make no mistake, Hocker hears what he has to say..... "should have gone pro".
This is when Centro shows why he's the champ. Final 300 in 36.5s. Hocker takes silver and celebrates like he should. He even shares the big American flag with Centro on the celebratory lap, although that's just for the camera. Optics are important. On the inside he's fuming. He knows this can only be Salazar's work, but he has no way to prove it. At least not for now.
Nuguse fends off Lewandowski's late surge to take the bronze. The Polish federation formally protests because Nuguse swerved from lane 1 to 4 on the last 100, but it gets rejected.
ALL AMERICAN PODIUM

Hmmm fair. It seems to have grown to be consensus. However, he is the defending world champ and 5k/10k WR holder. It also will probably be fast, and nobody else except Kiplimo has demonstrated 26:3x ability or better. I mean Chep ran 26:11 flat for crying out loud. He’s also a very tough athlete (see XC history) so if conditions are poor (ie hot) I think he’ll fair well. Unless there’s some information floating around re injury or something similar, I’m not sure the fact that he hasn’t shown great form since the 10k WR is enough to say he won’t medal.
fare* well
As I said. Don’t bet against Chep. Had him and Kiplimo 1-2 and it almost worked. Congrats to Barega he seriously deserves it, what a run.
Stating that the odds are very much against your prediction is not another prediction, it’s stating a fact.
It’s like betting on 17 in roulette and acknowledging you will not likely win.
That’s not the same as betting against yourself.
Anyway, I’m out.
Fisher “only” got 5th.

+1. Just because you make a prediction doesn’t mean it has a >50% probability of happening. It is basically a statement that you think that other peoples perceived odds of something happening aren’t in line with yours…

Actually not as bold as it sounds even if you did. I mean she's 24 which is a ripe old age in gymnastics.
South Africa wins gold 4x100m
Noah lyles wins gold 200m in 19.40
Ronnie baker upsets bromell in 9.79
Gabby Thomas runs 21.45 to win 200m
Harrison jumps 2.42m and 8.65 for double gold
Mu runs 1:54.1 for gold
Felix wins 400m gold
Safan hassan is beaten in 1500, and 10,000
Ta lou beats elaine Thompson and only one jamaican medals
Anyone know if the prediction picks update in real time or if it takes a day or two? I picked Fred Kerley to take silver but the board doesn't reflect it.
