He is a nutbar
Let's hope Phil Knight gets involved and hires some modern day Pinkertons to find the folks who did this.

Certainly the psychopath that hired the private investigator is lurking on this board. What a nut job. Probably someone affiliated with BTC, as LR suggest it’s from someone on the professional running community. The vitriol and absolute insanity pointed toward Salazar and NOP is mind boggling. Meanwhile the BTC just goes about their way taking nandrolone and stirring up rumors about other teams.[/quote
For all we know, it could have been lrc/Wejo, or someone in their orbit, working with them.
Have they denied any involvement? Now let's face it, track and field is such a small in their sport that no one in the general public cares about, this is indeed an unfortunate and creepy story.

I mean in defense of ROJO he did say he thinks the private detective showed zero proof of any wrongdoing on Rupp and Salazars end. He also essentially said this felt like an overreach of privacy.
That being said, whoever hired this private detective is clearly a nut job with nothing better to do on their hands.
It’s nice that he said that but if he actually felt like it was an overreach of privacy he wouldn’t be selling the story behind a paywall and deliberately misleading/vague headline on his website.
I don't know anything about the story, and would never pay even a penny to the brosjo to see it. But, there is more than 100% proof that the convicted doping cheater Salazar is guilty of everything that he has been accused of. There is more than 100% proof that rupp is a doping cheater. They both absolutely should be in prison right now, and are lucky that is is only some creep following them around and not the cops.
Who is more pathetic: the vigilante stalker-by-proxy or the online gossip rag trying to monetize it? This is a new low for LRC and a desperate ploy to remain relevant.
I am tempted, very tempted, to contact an old college friend working in the WC22 organization and asking that Gault, the Johnsons, and anyone associated with LRC be denied press credentials next summer. This is sleazy tabloid behavior and, sadly, not unsurprising given the trajectory of this site in recent years.
Sounds like Rojo or someone LRC affiliated hired the PI.
Hiding the article behind the paywall sounds like gross opportunism, not truth seeking journalism. The ethics are suspect, at best. Wether it's spying on someone to create subscription clickbait or selling pride T Shirts and sending proceeds to non LGBTQ non-profits... LRC has a history... do better

You would deny access to hard-hitting, honest, fact telling, unbiased, intelligent professional journalists like rojo and wejo?

aaaaahaha. Do they rly think of themselves as journalists tho?
there's clearly nothing useful or the info would be public.
they want to justify their shame by making you pay for it too.
this is a fuucking tabloid
Lots of the stories about him seemed like people freaking out for attention about clearly borderline stuff not in the realm of straight up doping.
i will assume at this point that someone has paid to read this click bait article. and that if anything was found by the investigator that a sentence or two would have made it to this thread.
so in effect what has been said is- watch out salazar. we are watching you. and if you are stupid enough to coach rupp from the public library computer we will get the pictures to the national enquier.
which does not prove that salzar has no private way to interact with rupp. though certainly any mediocre government agency would know, due to various gps data on most communication devices. etc
pretty much like an episode of cheaters on tv. but when the lovers are just sexting from their secret hideouts and nothing at all gets onto the camera. so can we at least see the facial expression of the guy who paid the bill and ended up with a bunch of evidence of nothing.
britnay spears lent salazar her private indoor tennis court to coach rupp on and they meet there by helicopter 2 times a week. or i guess they are out at that place burning man takes place. since its probably empty most of the year. salazar and rupp enjoying quality time at 2 in the morning on the bike trials in the bunnies near moab. etc. they have a secret underwater treadmill. they meet up after leaving underwater from different beaches 20 miles apart.

Starting to feel like justified paranoia. This story makes Salazar’s story seem more legitimate.
Yea, like what kind of sick person would do this. Pretty weird, and pay a private detector. Strange.
it's IDIOTIC that letsrun is putting stories behind a paywall. that's what killed flotrack. letsrun is filled with ads anyway so it's not like they are hurting for money.
Hopefully using adblock denies them revenue - what a trash article to plaster one week before T&F olympics when casuals might be trying to learn about the sport

This is a really stupid comment. Lots of publications have paywalls, it's how they make money.
Supporters Club 🤣
Make it look as if people are cheating and then put it behind a paywall. Classy as usual.
I’m a Supporters Club member.
Enjoyed the story. Disturbing that someone would be obsessed enough to stalk Rupp/his wife children and Salazar/his grandkids.
Zero issue with Letsrun putting it behind a paywall. The “holier than thou” crowd in the running community re: Salazar and Rupp can’t have it both ways.

LOL - not this again.
Facts:
- as an athlete, he doped himself with testosterone
- his first star pupil was banned for doping with testosterone
- as a coach, he is currently banned for three anti-doping rule violations, originally for life, then reduced to four years in arbitration
- as a coach, he is now also suspended for abuse.
You get a creep with a camera gathering pictures of children , and trying to see AlSal taking showers . Almost everything AlSal said about the public is correct.
