That is all.
That is all.
Those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it.....
Who knows what the OP Moran means by "badness", but 30-35 deaths/day for populations of 20-40 Million amongst the obese and over 80s is...0.00000089% mortality, in the realm of an accounting error or random traffic accidents.

Great, another person who doesn't seem to know what "%" means.
Let's use similar numbers, just to keep the discussion simple. Suppose 30 thousand people die, in a population of 30 million. That's one in a thousand, or .001--which equals 0.1%.
Then suppose it's just 30 out of 30 million. That's one in (a thousand times a thousand), or .001 x .001. And .001 x .001 = .000001--which equals .0001%. And if we reduced that a little, to your "89," then it would be .000089%--four zeroes after the decimal, NOT six.
Your inability to get this straightforward arithmetic right...makes any other opinions you might have (on topics that are linked to statistics) difficult to give credence.

They are not the three least vaxxed states.
Those are Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
Interesting. My neighbor and his wife are nurses in the Houston Medical Center, and specifically work with immuno-compromised patients. They say there is no spike in hospitalizations, and they laugh and shake their heads at the Delta freak out.
To add, all of medical friends have gone silent on social media. Many in the medical community have figured out they and we have been played,

30-35 deaths a day? Try 148 today in Florida alone. If the rest of the country were as bad as Florida that would be well over 2000 deaths today. 99% of those could have been prevented by a free vaccine that's been available for months now.
This is how many Americans have died of COVID-19 each month:
January 2020: 6
February 2020: 19
March 2020: 7,154
April 2020: 65,461
May 2020: 38,297
June 2020: 18,005
July 2020: 31,111
August 2020: 29,881
September 2020: 19,138
October 2020: 24,905
November 2020: 53,206
December 2020: 98,048
January 2021: 104,265
February 2021: 46,931
March 2021: 22,693
April 2021: 18,312

June 2021: 7,010
July 2021: 1,208

Troll at work!
"Least-vaxxed" is a *rate*; "40% of new cases" is a *number*. And of course TU, as a troll, knows this.
Populations of TX, FL, MO are roughly 30 million, 22 million, and 6 million, respectively; populations of AL, MS, AR are roughly 5 million, 3 million, and 3 million, respectively. The worse *numbers* in the first three states far outweigh the worse *rates* in the latter three.
But credit where it's due: TU's insufferable trollage shows a *little* creativity this time, playing on the innumeracy of so many LRCers.
He's still an asshoIe troll, though. And I already regret having fed the troll by responding. I won't respond to him further, on this thread or others.

WTF was that all about? AL,MS, and AR are the least vaccined states. Yet no mention of their horrific death rates. Instead the MSM targets the two states that have stood up to the establishment, Tx and FLA with their lurid headlines about deaths. As you can see from my other post, deaths per month in American have dripped steadily all year.

The virus, especially the Delta version is headed their way, wait for it and see what happens.
By the way, the mainstream media is predominantly owned by Republicans and conservative entities.
And most recent reports state that that number is headed upward, it is biking in the south.
Looking at today's seven day avg Covid deaths by state, see FLA in the lead at 33, then Cali and Texas at 23, and MO and LA at ten each.
The reports say that, but the numbers don't
