Thanks, you made me even more convinced to not get the vaccine.

If a vaccine really caused all her symptoms then it still just a small fraction of those that would have been worse off without vaccine. Those with side effects are a very small percentage of the total who receive the vaccine. I had no side effects after either Pfizer vaccine shot. I ran the same day after receiving the shots. I did an interval workout after the 2nd shot. But my wife was ill for about a day after her 2nd Moderna vaccine shot. A few hundred bad outcomes with a vaccine will warrant nothing more than a warning label as we have seen more than one with the J & J vaccine. That's the way it is and always will be when looking at millions is not ill effects from a vaccine versus the bad outcomes for those were were infected without benefit of vaccination.
My mother's was notified of about a dozen known possible bad outcomes before each of her brain cancer treatments that were only performed at about 6 hospitals in the nation. Possible outcomes included stroke and death. She luckily never had any of the listed possible outcomes and was cancer free for another 5 years. I made the choice to take a Covid vaccine that has not undergone the normal 2 or so years of long term testing because I figured the odds for a good outcome for me being in my mid-50's was much better than without. My daughters and wife also took the vaccines when first available. They were worried about contracting Covid too especially after one younger co-worker was hospitalized and other younger workers never got their sense of smell or taste back after even 6 months after contracting Covid. Just walking into a medical facility exposes one to risks of infection. No medicine or medical procedure is risk free or without some risk of side-effects. I'll still except the risks because based on family medical history I fully expect to suffer from one or more of the following in about 15 years or so: glaucoma, cataracts, cancer, stroke, heart disease, dementia, Parkinson's. If not one of these then a one in million disease that two of my cousins, one my age, contracted while their sister has pancreatic cancer--the cancer that killed my mother. So far 4 out of 6 relatives had experience good quality of life that was extended by their treatments that were not without risks. I am not sure how much good the Parkinson's medications did for one relative and the one in a million disease, CJD, took some meds that are used with Parkinson's patients but CJD runs its course in just 6 to 12 months regardless of medication.
