The real question here is why aren't these doctors using ivermectin, a well known drug that is safe and well established, on their severely sick patients. It's pretty clear it works from the doctors who have used it all over the world, and yet we aren't using it to save lives. Say it doesn't work as is expected, and the patient with covid dies, who was going to die anyways, we are no worse off. Save lives use ivermectin.

This. I'm not really concerned about getting COVID myself, and the elderly and vulnerable can get the vaccine to protect themselves. I chose to get the vaccine in the hopes that we as a society can eradicate COVID before it has the chance to mutate into something more deadly. That seems unlikely at this point.
Another thing I've heard about other vaccines is that some people can't get them for whatever health reason, so they rely on heard immunity for protection. I'm not sure if that applies in this case.
60% (those suffering from chronic diseases) of the US should get vaccinated. All healthy people should not as their own health is 99.9% effective against any respiratory virus

When the vaxxed crowd dies from the flu this fall (no immune system left), the unvaxxed will roam the land free. Without the waxed/vaxxed folks spreading virus all over the place, it will die off like it would have if you'd just worn a darn mask the whole time.
Sounds like you are part of the proud deep south geniuses. Keep spreading misinformation and keep killing people, because at this juncture, thats really what you are doing. No excuse anymore.

Yep, anyone can post a link and think it's THE PROOF. I can do so as well and it will be dismissed by you and Alan, who is actually one of the better posters on this site.
When someone posts a link about people dying because of what the jab is doing to their blood and heart, it gets dismissed as hogwash. But factually, people have died and are having serious health issues due to the jab. But when you post a video link like above, you're giving one example by one Doctor in this vast country.
Others Doctors will disagree, but why post the link. Keep your jab and be happy that YOU believe YOU made the right decision. But when the Fall comes...

Another factor being overlooked is why should I get the vaccine when Fauci and his ilk are just going to pay China to create another superbug?

I haven't gotten vaccinated because I believe the testing was rushed. I'm 95% sure it's safe, but 5% is too much a risk for me to risk my health. If in two to three years, Covid is still a thing and no one I know has suffered serious side effects from being vaccinated, I'll get vaccinated.
That makes a lot of sense to me and I think explains most of the country's lack of vaccination - I don't think it comes down to laziness or strong antivax conviction as much as people think. It's literally just weighing the severity/risk of the virus (which is virtually non-existent) vs. the severity/risk of the vaccine (also virtually non-existent yet slightly less known).
Internal and external polling shows this is very incorrect.
I just don’t care. I’m a lone wolf with no friends or family and I don’t care about anyone else. I won’t get sick from Covid. I haven’t had any illness for at least 10 years and we had some bad flus during that time. It’s a worse version of the flu. Big deal. Also, Covid only kills the weak and feeble. I honestly believe from an evolutionary perspective the weak and feeble shouldn’t be in the gene pool. It’s really that simple. And that includes me. If I die tomorrow from Covid, then I deserve it.

Nice commie tactics. I thought you were a libertarian though? Nice try with that claim.

NO IT DOESN'T. The stats indicate that vaccinated people are *vastly* less likely to get long-term ill effects (including death, which is very long-term) from Covid-19.
It’s a no [brainer] for a healthy individual.
"No brain" is right.
If the sick and elderly want to get it, power to them. Their health condition and age should not mean I have to change my life.
HTF much is your life changed by going to get a couple shots? Look, just be as honest as some of the other folks on this thread:
"It's new and different and that's scary, okay?"
Not 50% of every country.
Only 50% of those privileged to be able to get it readily.

You are clearly out of your element here. Yes or no, can I still get Covid if I am vaccinated? Also yes or no, can the vaccine result in side effects(however limited the chance)?
If you cannot honestly answer yes to both those questions, you are not here in good faith. That’s how my life is affected.
Thanks for playing.
