I haven't gotten vaccinated because I believe the testing was rushed. I'm 95% sure it's safe, but 5% is too much a risk for me to risk my health. I've known a few people who've had Covid and it seems like a mild flu. I'm not at all worried about getting Covid. If in two to three years, Covid is still a thing and no one I know has suffered serious side effects from being vaccinated, I'll get vaccinated.
This made sense at first, but the amount of diesel given now far surpass any normal vaccine trial. We would know if it wasn’t safe.
We have seen more adverse reactions to the covid vaccine through reporting systems like the UK’s yellow card and US’s VARS despite a likely under reporting of such when you consider so many people are ignorant that it exists. Furthermore, if something else happens beyond initial reporting, that data point is already locked in; there’s no adding to it. If you have a sore arm for a day, report it in VARS, and have a heart attack the next day, there is not a mechanism by which you go back and modify your adverse reaction being logged as sore arm for a day plus a heart attack.
A decision was made months ago that vaccines would be the way out and new vaccine technology for them, at that. Any take other than that in the year since has been lambasted, even when it comes from folks who had the vaccine and are dealing with lingering side effects that go unreported, can’t be discussed on Facebook, and get “shouted down” on forums like this.
