Boo who about your feelings.
Why crap on Fisher with your feelings?
Fisher has done nothing against you and if you are from Michigan he should give you a lot to cheer about and be proud of.
From when he was in high school, throughout college and now during his professional career, Fisher has been exemplary in every aspect of his life. The list is long. If you are from Michigan you would have been able to listen to him speak, see him sign autographs for kids, win races, awards, and adulation from competitors, fans, coaches, and parents of kids competing - while he was in high school. If you followed him in college the same held true. Now that he is a professional - the same holds true.
Fisher is the best of the best from Michigan. Once his running career is over and he has achieved great things he will continue to achieve great things because of the man he is, the character he has, the humility he has, his competitive drive, and the brain he has.
The guy is clean as a whistle, one of our greatest talents in US distance running.
He went with the Bowerman group because most likely in his mind (which is far more capable then yours) he saw that group of athletes, coaches, and resources available as his best shot to compete at the international level. Nike’s ability to finance altitude camps is a long term enabler to being able to compete with best cleanly. He turned down offers from several other groups, he probably took a pay cut from what he would be making straight out of college with a Stanford Electrical Engineering degree.
But alas, it is about your feelings.
Cheer the guy on. He is going to the Olympics and competing in two events. He has a great future on and of of the track. The guy is a star, a role model and 100% clean.
Now go blow your nose.
