The dream season continues for Norris!!!
The dream season continues for Norris!!!
She should of run the 1500 at the trials. There's no way she loses to MacLean for 3rd.
Who?
Reebok track club has some serious stars now with Norris and Justyn Knight. Unfortunately looked like Norris running the 5k at trials was the wrong event
Did she have the qualifying fir the trials
She hadn’t broken 4.06

I think she had run a 4:04 to beat out Schneider in a race prior. Either way this is a massive PR

No,
Her prs going into the Trials were 4:06 (not even a Trials qualifier) & 14:51 (still #17 in the world).
She was a favorite to make the team in the 5k along w/Cranny & Schweizer but had a poor finals race. Possibly, she does not run well in the heat as it was in the mid-80s that Monday afternoon.
At least this 3:59 qualifies Josette for next year's Eugene Worlds where -- if I recall correctly -- the 1500/5k double is doable, so she can enter both and possibly race both at 2022 USAs.
Norris with a 60.9x final last to blow the doors off a quality field including Hull and Hultz.
Colby Alexander 3:33.64 to take a second off his five-year old PR. Grijalva a strong 3:35 for second.

Wanted to post about Colby as well.
Those are both massive PRs, though Norris is obviously significantly younger and seems to have great upside for 2 more Olympic cycles. Hopefully Colby gets picked up and can continue running for a few more years!

All those PRs within a few months are questionable. I smell dope

Certainly wouldn’t be a shocker if true

Micaela Meyers' sister supposedly livestreamed that race, you might check her Instagram account, otherwise flotrack might post on youtube
