Timings seems suspicious though although he was a sub 20 and 10.08 runner, he had 10.38 and 20.64 season best in the 100m and the 200m just before than. His 100m time was from 2.5 weeks ago.I know this just happened but I'm surprised people weren't making a bigger deal of this European 100m record.
Total bs.
I have followed Wilson for a while. This is garbage.
WTF these ridiculous results in the southern US? At this point I believe none of them unless they are re-created at a real meet against real competition. To me, Eugene counts as only a half-confirmation.
What ridiculousness. He should be in Tokyo, we’ll see what he does there.
Yeah I don’t think this result will hold up. We’re there reactions times? I need to go check out this track, it’s only like 20 minutes from where I live
That time is as ridiculous as the 9.77 Bromell is alleged to have run as well as the 10.62 that Fraser Pryce is alleged to have run. All three of these are clearly due to malfunctioning clocks. Wilson is no sub 9.9 runner.

How about no?
It's hard to believe he took two-tenths off his PB. In his defence, he had a perfect tailwind so maybe a sub-10 shouldn't be all that surprising. The guy looks to be in average physical shape as well, maybe he has another tenth in him if he tones up a little

Read more closely, and don't have a tantrum.
With a +1.9 tailwind this is not shocking at all for him.

Even with the wind this is a bit out of the ordinary for this athlete.
His 10.08 with with 0.1 wind, so essentially flat.
The basic for 9.84 +1.9 is 9.93.
Personal best by 0.15. Impressive, very surprising, but not impossible.
Times out of Clermont are often eye-brow raising too.
Well, the good news is we get to see how real these performances really are in just a couple short weeks. Having such a long break from the grind of the yearly track year with the pandemic, a lot of these athletes were able to train consistently and injury free for long periods at a time. That has to have a say in some of these times we are seeing no?

Impossible.
No disrespect. I can't do what he does but he is not a 9.84 sprinter, even with +1.9m/s.

IDK, the OG’s might be a weird flop—who knows who will get to run, and who, if anybody, will perform to their potential.
I’m looking to DL-type meets, with international fields, for confirmation.
BTW Wilson’s 10.08 (0.1) was at 992m elevation, which gives a basic of around 10.13-10.14. Actually, la-chaux-de-fonds is so high up there, nobody considers the results meaningful.
Nor do I trust that great near-perfect wind reading in GA. Lol people who are eagerly willing to accept stuff like this.
This looks very rinky-dink...his start isn't even good? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ocb1J_QNg2E&t=11s&ab_channel=D4FAthletics

...as you are a human being on planet Earth.
What is his immigration story? He was already Swiss at 22, but born in Jamaica.
