Saucony something or other.
When they wear out I buy a new pair of something similar. Whatever I can find on sale from last year.
While there are many good running shoes out there, some of the newer offerings don’t work for me, especially the soft midsole/huge stack heigh combo. No Hoka or NB 1080 for me. While not soft by any means, I find the Peg 37 unwearable and botched compared to previous versions.
I have too many shoes:
Nike Pegasus 36 (4th pair)
Peg Turbo 2 waiting in line to replace the Peg 36s (hopefully won’t injure me)
Asics Tartheredge
Nike Spike Flat (streaktumbo)
Nike Mamba 5 spikes (many holes in the upper…)

La Sportiva Akasha
I’m willing to try the Saucony Freedom 4 if I can get them heavily discounted, but I’d be happy with a few more pairs of Peg 36s.
