They should try living the spartan way like Kipchoge.. They are entitled and spoiled.

At the beginning of the video they mention how the athletes were at the forefront of the decision-making, yet then they insinuate that it was Tinman's fault with "thats when I feel like I really started to question the system I had in place" [- Drew]. Disappointing lack of accountability. Also 0 sympathy about the steeple race being short, they've all raced it enough to know where the start-line should've been.
I also feel it's a bit of a p***-take to any of their fans that 90% of this Part 1 was recycled footage from previous videos, and information that they'd all already put out previous.
One athlete mentioned getting to "work with Tom" as a reason for joining.
Agree, much more old footage than I expected.
Very bland video. Thought it might be a little longer too.
Let me add that I hate the Frat Boyz. Oh, I might as well throw in the word "burrito" here - the most common word found in so many LRC threads, no matter what the subject - as if it is clever, which it is not. Did I use the term "mommy" yet? (How convenient that I'm slinging mud at the Tinmen on LRC, like the minority who, with nothing better to do, love the freedom to smear reputations at will.) I'd better trash the videographer, too. And I gotta say "Poor, poor Tom Schwartz", too! One last thing: Can you believe how bad Drew Hunter's form is?!
Feel free to mine the wealth of cliches and same-ol' zingers found in 100% of threads which mention Hunter and/or TME. Hate is a beautiful thing, you know.

The tinman elite is a joke

So who all has left? Thies, Syd?
Syd is still on the site, but I believe removed "Tinman" from his bio and also ran unattached at the trials
"New Tinman Elite DocuSeries" seems like false advertising.
It may be new, it may be a documentary series, but there is nothing "elite" happening in these vids is there?
After watching that trailer I realized I have zero clue who anyone on that team is other than Drew.
As a registered TME hater, I’ve always loved Drew’s form. I don’t get the critics.

You have to give them credit for the marketing of the club. Nothing wrong with promoting the club and its athletes. That being said, they do need to put up some times and most importantly start winning. The promo stuff only goes so far, and if they don't start having runners win races, especially USA national events they will suffer a cruel death. Drew's 2-mile indoor championship ain't gonna cut it. Running a "qualifying" time for a major championship ain't gonna cut it. These dudes (and soon-to-be women) need to WIN some national championship races. Indoor track, road, outdoor track, and cross country. They need to make national teams.
Now for the coaching part. I give Mommy Joan credit for stepping in and taking charge. Someone needed to and she answered the bell. That being said, after reading her take on the club and why she stepped in, the one thing that stood out to me was the rash of injuries within the club, particularly with Drew. A year or so ago I went head to head with her on the message boards with regard to over-training and high mileage with young runners. She defended the high mileage theory and threw Drew's success in my face. I pointed out that having young athletes run high mileage was not in the best interest of the athlete, you may reap some immediate benefits but you may be jeopardizing their future. Yeah, Drew had great success in high school and signed a sweet Adidas deal, but look where he's at now. Is his foot issue a chronic problem? Will it lead to future lower leg, hip, and or back issues?. Hopefully not, but you still have to acknowledge it. A big question regarding Joan is credibility. Putting together a successful high school program is light years away from coaching world-class runners. What's her experience? What does she bring to the table? I think Mommy Joan is in over her head. I said it a couple of months ago, Drew needs to be with a legit powerhouse club (BTC, Brooks Beasts, OTC, On, Hoka AZ, etc...) and a coach that will push him hard and kick his A** day in and day out. Same for the other talented Tinman athletes. I don't think Mommy Joan has the ability and or experience to take this club to the elite world-class level.
If Mommy Joan is reading this, I welcome your rebuttal.
I do wish them good luck!

Drew Hunter to become 'Drea Hunter?
Give it a couple more years and Drew will be in the Brooks Beasts. Deal with be half of whatever he is earning right now but will be able to train with guys like Kerr and Ribich who have shown success. Drew sells the rights to Tinman LLC back to Tom and rents out his house to other guys living the dream in Boulder.
You heard it here first folks

Nah, he signs over the Tinman LLC rights to Parsons. The bridge to Tom has been burned to ash (his wife will make sure of that) and what else is Parsons going to do?
Jeff Thies is officially off the team as well. Why do TME make a big deal when people join but no comment when people leave?

Pretty sure “Coach” Cory Leslie was designing workouts so actually he is to blame ?
Parsons is a trust fund guy who will leave the sport disgraced and will distance himself far away from the T&F community.
