From a running standpoint probably not Clemson. Richmond is distance only and no track, but if you wanna study business and can get enough of it paid for would be a very good school. If you don’t mind the Christian lifestyle Liberty could be a good fit, but if you wanna have the ‘college experience’ probably not a good fit. Lipscomb and Belmont both have consistently developed good runner and solid teams, although Belmont is very expensive. North Florida is probably the best team at the moment. Don’t know much about George Mason pretty average academically and athletically, but if you we’re studying something to do with politics the close proximity to D.C. would be a good advantage. Emory is probably the best overall though although it is D3. A few years ago I would’ve said Will and Mary but as far as running it doesn’t look like the program is in a great spot with them cutting track I believe, although it is still a very good school.
I would say
1. Emory Lipscomb Belmont Liberty
2. Richmond North Florida
3. George Mason Clemson
I don’t know exactly what your looking for if costs matter and what type of experience but based off of that list there is a good mix of public, private, large, small, schools that are all solid in running and academics.
Best of luck !
