I am 63 years old and looking to start running again after many years off.
Need shoes that will work for slow pace and give me some cushion:
So far I have tried the following:
Hoka Mach 4 - Had high hopes for this but it just isn't doing it. Nicely made shoe and light, fits well but it feels dead and hard.
Asics Novablast 2 - Nice and bouncy great energy return. Ok stability. The upper is not the best fit but ok. It feels a bit too narrow in the heel.
New Balance Rebel V2 - Super soft and bouncy. It runs small and my toes are at the very end. Not sure if 1/2 size larger would improve the feel. Although I like it I feel it may be too soft and unstable for me.
I think the Novablast would be my first choice right now but its not ideal.
Any other shoes I should consider?
Thanks
