My body, my choice!
Looks like that was guy morbidly obese, if he didn't get COVID would have died of an acute exacerbation of obesity within the next 20 years anyway right? Nothing we can do about that. I think you get it by now.

I am not an anti-vaxxer and 100% support someone's decision to get the vaccine.
I also support someone's decision not to get the vaccine. Looking at data, some of these decisions may be more supportable than others. We all have different risk profiles.
What I don't support is a coercive state, twisting data, twisting narrative, and pitting people against each other for political gain. Currently they are pitting the vaccinated vs. the unvaccinated. They are doing this by punishing the vaccinated with masks (which have extremely limited benefits to the point they don't move the needle on spread), when they told them the vaccine would allow them to remove their masks. They need to move the goalposts to keep us fighting.
Bros, Dude fits the typical profile of the COvID ICU patient we’re seeing these days…obese, unvaccinated, undertreated chronic medical conditions. Sux.

If you condition on a positive test then yes Ct values are similar (not exactly viral load!).
Obviously testing positive is the key information about viral load. CDC with terrible communication here.
Google “Bayes rule”
The vaccines work. Even against Delta.
Using an outlier event like Provincetown to cast doom and gloom may be possibly more scientifically cautious but is irresponsible communication.
A good working model seems to be that a superspreading indoor even like Provincetown can infect vaccinated people but most transmission and cases aren’t happening under that model and vaxxed people usually break chains of transmission.
Don’t let the fearmongers get you down. Vaccines are beating COVID.

There’s very little “coercion” going on by the government. Employers are well within their rights to require the vaccines.
Telling people they are dumb and their “risk profile” calculations are completely flawed is not coercion. Telling someone they are terrible at math when they brag about not getting the vaccine is not coercion.

Do you think it is comparable to hospitals refusing to allow people to choose to smoke inside them, or sometimes even in front of them?
63% of Massachusetts is fully vaxxed.
74% of new Covid cases in Massachusetts are people who have been fully vaxxed.

Second hand smoke is dangerous. Unvaccinated people have a much higher risk of infection and therefore transmission.
Mitigating risk in healthcare settings with a lot of very vulnerable individuals makes good sense, no?
Majority of these people are fat too. Rather than address the elephant in the room/mirror, they play the Covid blame game. “It’s the unvaccinated that are putting me at risk!!!”. No chubbs, it’s your inability to resist the fridge that is putting you at risk.

When 100% of a population is vaccinated, then 100% of new COVID cases will be people who are fully vaccinated. #YouMoron

Is anyone aware of a way to get a 3-day regimen of Ivermectin right now? I'd like to have some set aside should the need arise. I'm almost certain that an urgent care clinic would not prescribe it should I test positive. Ivermectin is dirt cheap so I want to have it available immediately.
