You should not train if you are insured. So the next days are given -> you rest and cure your body
Rest as long as you feel ready to run again. If this is before race day do a very easy run but not to far. Only 4-5 miles max and see how that is. Are you healthy after that? Feel into your body after the run. I would not give up so early but i would definitely not run if not ready to do so.
