Well, as a coach and steepler myself, you cannot improve your hurdle mechanics past a certain point based on bone/body structure and mechanics for efficiency. It's probably the reason why you've seen her working on it for several years and see no improvement. Basically what she continues to work on is the flexibility and motor skill memory at this point. It's the same reason Sydney McLaughlin's form doesn't improve, or Warholm, and as we know, no one has ever lost a steeple due to hurdle form.

Coburn is one tough woman, she never fails to give a show. I've watched her training for years and it is good stuff, some is a little gimicky, but its good. Have said this, her hurdle mechanics have not improved over the years, maybe they should have spent more time hurdling.
