Anyone who runs 3.28 is suspicious - that's the sport today. But anyone who does it coming from nowhere isn't suspicious but is laughably obvious. A jet engine throws off fewer fumes.
LRC note: This thread was deletd by a volunteer mod in 2023 but now given the fact that Katir has been suspended we have re-instated it.

Some news. I ve heard/read remarks by top Spanush athletes (Olympic level) that go as "we cant trust guys who appear from nowhere and run incredible PBs". Dint mention him (openly), but he is actually the only athlete in Spain who fits this description. Definitely, in meeting looks that other athletes dont believe in him.
I would argue that Fernando Carro has had a meteoric rise that might elicit pause.

There's been at least one dodgy client whose part of Mostaza's management: Mohamed al Garni --> Moroccan-born Qatari banned four years for refusing an unannounced doping test April 2016 in Ifrane. al Garni was referreed to Jama Aden, which is nothing new to LetsRun.
Mostaza is also Katir's current manager.
Do al Garni and Katir train together? They raced that 3:33 1500m in Nerja together along with another person managed by Mostaza: Ouassim Oumaiz.

I meant, the only athlete that fits de description this year**
Regarding Carro, I am far from being an insider or something, but he is not suspicious for me; quite the opposite actually

From years at 8’30/8’2x to a sudden 8’05?
From years of >8’00 over flat 3k to equaling that over barriers and water?
3’45+ for many years then 3’35?
Guy may or may not be a doper, but there's also a lot of frankly racist stuff being posted.
Racist against Moroccans and bigoted against Spain.
The Mostaza trail sniffs of dirty rotten bad butt fart. He's had some ups and downs keeping athletes in his posse off the juice.
Anyone remember that Brazilian 800m specialist Fabiana dos Santos (1:57.16)?
For those who need a history refresher, dos Santos was Brazil's first athlete handed a drug ban (nandrolone). She earned two bans, actually, and faced a lifetime ban. She sank into a pretty significant hell hole. Depressed, she attempted to take her life. Downed a bunch of pills.
From nowhere, who came to save her while she was purportedly lying on the floor in her apartment in Madrid? None other than Miguel Mostaza.
dos Santos' coach at the time --> Manuel Pascual, one of the suspected leaders of 'Operation Galgo'.
Hardcore cross fans will recall the Mohamed Marhoum (2:06:50 marathoner) doping scandal where the Moroccan-born nationalized Spaniard got popped. Who was his manager? Let's see, Miguel Mostaza.
Alemayehu Bezabeh? A doping-plagued athlete Mostaza managed during the 'Operation Galgo' sting who had to withdraw from the Spanish team competing at the European Championships, in which he was heavily favored to repeat winning.
Katir, the waters are murky.

Where is the name of Mostaza here?

These affaire are old (2010). We need more reliable sources. The only list we have is this that concern the last five years

There are lots of improvement progressions like this. People at this far-right website like the deny the obvious: USA was and is one of the top nation of dopers and cheats, perhaps behind russia. The only difference is that in the USA it's brand-sponsored programs, and the psychotic ethos of individualism, instead of the state that is fueling this scourge, and acceptance, of second rate cheating scum.
So LetsRun is a “far-right website” … that sells LGBT pride T-shirts.

Amazing post. I don't think we ever had the on the front page. If you see an article like that , please email us as we need help in finding stuff.
letsrun@letsrun.comIf you were a top agent in Spain for a long period of time you were representing dopers operating under a Spanish national program…Does it reflect well on you? No, but I don’t think the agents were calling the shots there. So I’d judge Katir for other factors then his agent.
The Norwegians are the biggest dopers.
This was posted several times here in the forum, although it wasn't discussed much. I also posted an article from I think 1985, when Fuentes was already coach of the Spanish team, and accused of shady practices with his athletes even back then.

When you present some statistics regarding Africans usually they are wrong (like in this thread). You are a lier, Coevett.
Subway Surfers (don't know where he is these days) once posted a list of the fastest Moroccans, and every single one has either been banned, been a training partner of somebody banned, or been involved in a doping scandal of some sort. I haven't got time this morning, but here's a quick check of the fastest 7 Moroccan born 1500m runners in history:
1 : El G (LOL)
2 : Katir (ridiculous 8 second improvement at age 23)
3 : Abdelaati IGUIDER (Not sure what his association is with doping)
4 : Said Aouita (LOL, chased out of Austraila, doctor arrested for supplying multiple athletes drugs, etc etc)
5 : Rashid Ramzi (Busted in 2009 for EPO and stripped for Olympic gold medal - training partner of El G)
6 : Amine LAALOU (banned in 2012 after masking agents found in his system)
7 : Adil KAOUCH (banned in 2007 after failing doping test)

Nah, Carro is not suspicious at all. He is pure grit, years of training plus the super spikes resulted in that NR.
Regarding Mostaza, he manages many athletes. It's gonna happen that some of those hundredths of athletes he manages are gonna be cheaters. He's not like other managers that manage smaller groups.
Katir trains alone in Sierra Nevada, and probably he'll have other athletes there jump into some of his reps, but he hasn't got an established training group.
EL G (LOL) is your defense to the accusation to be a constant liar? You are not only a liar, Coevett, you are also just plain stupid.
