Dutch have a dirty reputation among international level athletes, like Simon Vroemen and Adrienne Barry (nee Herzog). It seems to be stitched into their sporting culture. I'd bet Arjen Robben & co. are doped up, too.

She tired of the acne on her back, so has gone clean. Thus slower. She's also getting old for a sprinter as others have said.

Dafne had quite back acne the last time I saw her a few years ago. This is a tell-tale sign. Like when Carl Lewis started wearing braces.
Dafne has had some injuries. Incidentally, tendon injuries are quite common in dopers - they don’t develop like muscles, so eventually they can’t cope with the increased exertion. That’s why Vitali Klitschko quit boxing. Weak tendons.
I’ve heard the acne reasoning a lot in regards to her and as someone who has continuously struggled with adult acne until my late 20ies that’s always really insulting. Could it be something she took? Yeah. Could it just be that she has natural acne? Yep as well. Not everyone leave terrible skin behind because they are in their 20ies now.
If it's on your back it's probably not your typical acne, which is more of a facial thing.
Back-ne is typically a telltale sign of steroid use.

Dr. Iron Fist retired from boxing at 41 years old. But you're saying it was weak tendons?
She has 2 herniated discs in her back which affects her training. And she is not quite so lean as when at her peak (the two may be related). Basically, she's just getting older, but still running well.
Britain's Adam Gemili is another sprinter whom I would say is not quite as lean as his competitors, whose form has also stagnated in recent years.
Adult acne is perfectly normal in some individuals. Its like saying that Dos Santos must be on testosterone supplements because he has a ridiculously receded hairline.

I've had bacne most of my adult life and none on my face. I'm definitely not taking androgenic steroids. Some people just have bad skin and on its own it's not really a definitive sign of anything.

In my defense, I actually have a daughter named Daphne, so I think I should get a pass. But yes, I love the enthusiasm 😂
That's a pretty good defense.

He retired in his mid 30's and came back in his late 30's and he failed a PED test leading up to the Atlanta games and was left off the Ukrainian team in the Super Heavyweight division.
His brother looked like the obvious doper with extremely low body fat ratio, but heavyweight boxing is very dirty with various elite fighters failing PED tests since the mid 90's.

Do you like chorizo and burritos from taco trucks?

You know who else wore braces until recently? Elaine Thompson.
She took a new coach after her Olympic silver in Rio
He tried things like changing her stride, but it didn't work out well for her.
She should've stuck with her first coach.
She got old. Pretty simple.
She left Reina Reider 2 years back for a Dutch coach. So far thats certainly a fail.
She fell apart when see left her coach to go to reina reider in the first place.
The Dutch TdF team a decade or so in the past had a Dutch rider who's nickname was "testo". Maybe just a coincidence.
Dos Santos was burned in a horrific accident as an infant, hence the scarring and “receding” hairline.
She was built like Chyna from WWE. Very intense looking young lady.

I had terrible acne as a teenager, was given tetracycline antibiotics by a dermatologist which back then was the standard "treatment". I was also between 1% - 3% body fat and had veins popping out everywhere. Resting heart rate of 34 and low blood pressure. Never did any type of anabolics or any other type of banned substance. Was actually malnourished during those years. Some of us are just natural studs. While there must definitely be lots of cheaters in sport it is still disheartening to come to this site and read all the posts by those with meager athletic talent ranting against the talented ones. Amazing how many of you can tell "just by looking".
Pretty obvious that she is/was doping.
Also, she is likely intersex, but that is only seen as an advantage from 400-1500 for some reason.
