The high school nationals are in Eugene. Today is the last day of events.
As a spectator, I can see now why the stadium looked empty at trials and have about the same amount of people for this meet.
You can only buy blocks of tickets instead of individual tickets. So going alone costs $134!
Getting two blocks of tickets is nearly impossible. Covid distancing and terrible ticketing website are the reasons.
I bought e tickets much more easily at my states high school events this year.

Tickets were too expensive f for Lyons but family to buy them at $33 a pop.
You can buy single tickets, but not in good sections. But it is so empty you really can move around and sit together in lots of places.
It’s ridiculous. They had the same empty stadiums at NCAA’s and the Olympic trials as they once again tried to discriminate based on vaccination status. 1 tiny section for the unvaccinated ( which they called physically distanced section), and an empty vaccinated section. I think vaccination coercion is running people away from track and field. The seats are empty.
