52 last lap and a 3:35 are exactly what the Olympic and WC finals since 1983 have averaged out too. Obviously that won't be accurate in predicting any given race, but Hocker does have the wheels to medal, if not win the whole darn thing.

I don't know if it's been said in this thread already, but what separates hocker from wheating is what Hocker can do in a 5000. The difference in aerobic development almost guarantees more consistency and longevity than Wheating had.
