Yes he did. Makes you wonder about the benefit of coaching form. Centro did everything right and totally kept his form and had excellent technique. Hocker on the other hand looked all over the place. Looked like he'd never been coached technique in his life. However, Hocker also looked like I'll just run past you because I'm faster than you.
Hocker is a bit bowlegged, his feet almost cross the center line, his waist and hips are a wide and shoulders a bit narrow so his arm swing has to stick out a bit. Not sure his motion can be really clean with these structural deficits, time for Canova to chime in.
Centro has clean lines, straight legs, narrow hips, wider shoulders, no wonder he looks so graceful, similar to Steven Gardinar running the 400.
I thought he looked unusual the first time I saw him in a finishing kick. Looked like a guy not used to racing, kind of like he was running *from* something, full of fear and joy. I like it.
