Watch and you shall see.

Nuguse is the only one of the “big four” from the eastern time zone.
So that means he'll have to stay up later to watch the race?

It is almost guaranteed that the delay of this evening’s 1500m will impact who makes the team. Expect a surprise due to the delay. My gut feeling is Cole Hocker will not make the team due to the delay. If my gut is wrong about Hocker, still expect a surprise. Look for Centro to still be on the team.
Lol
I don't see Hocker making the team anyway. Centrowitz, Engels and Nuguse is my prediction.

Yes.

5 hours later... now they have to eat a meal before the race! Rediculo!
The collegiates will be disadvantaged... now maybe one of the other pros will start believing and change their mentality while engaging their physicality!
Hot take: SURPRIZE! :p
Heaps of opportunity to adjust their routine. They would all eat 4-5 hours before the race, low GI bland food they are used to.
I doubt it will make a difference.

I agree. I think this helps Nuguse and here is why. I expect the final to be slow through 800m (not a shocking take there), hut I think it will then be Nuguse who drives the pace from 600m out. I think he was going to do this no matter what time the race was run - this delay helps him because I think in cooler weather he has more a chance at holding guys off in the final 100m than the did taking that pace on in 115 degrees + and in the direct sun.
I think Hocker is amazing and an awesome talent and his NCAA win was as good a win as you will see in a championship 1500m - even globally at a senior level. But I just have a got feeling Nuguse will turn the tables on him. Less racing, very good head, determined as f--k. Could be wrong but like you these are my 3.
Expect Henry Wynne to finish in the op 3 now.
The man is made for a late night finish. He's going to Tokyo- lock it in.
Well, this is awkward

Well, it did have a happy ending for Hocker.
