You can certainly differentiate between different kits amongst a single brand.
For example, you might like the BTC's kits but not Pete's Dragons or you might like the black and gray Adidas but not the blue cheetah.
Not exhaustive, but some of the major players are:

always has to be the most established shoe company that makes the most money to have the nicest looking kit. nike looks best because they make the most money, treat their athletes the worst legally, and pay out the most performance-based bonuses to alleged and former steroid cheats

The women’s NB kits have been undefeated in this category for the past 5+ years. However, I’d say McGee is the absolute winner.

who is not sick of seeing those nike kits everywhere the last 2 years?
1. ON. understated and classy. the shoes seem like a joke to me but they've got the apparel branding on point.
2. adidas. the cheetah stuff is kind of cheesy but also fun and i like fun things. the blue singlets kessler and a few others were wearing for the 1500 look pretty sharp.
3. NB. can't even picture what the men's look like (now that i think of it they don't really sponsor any dudes right?) but the ladies do look good NGL
ON doesn’t have shoes at the trials…
They are not at the trials, but the black Nike Aeroswift with the multicolor design are fantastic. If I recall, they were worn by Peter Julian's group in 2019. Engels and Murphy had them.
At these trials, not a big fan of the Nike design. The Adidas ones that Kessler wore are OK. The leopard prints definitely calls your attention. Tracksmith is also very nice.

yeah i know they're rocking the dragonflies i was just commenting on the brand in general. nice racing kits, silly training shoes (in my opinion). i do think it's cool that they are clearly investing in the pro side of the sport so i should really try to keep an open mind about them.
thanks to high school xc coach for the shots of the mens' NB kits. this is what i get for not following sprinting lol. i might need to move them to number one. i dig the horizontal stripes.

The women can wear shorts too. They mostly all CHOOSE to wear bunhuggers.
1. Nike - kind of weak. Didn't even put out new ones for this year
2. Adidas - I dig the weird color scheme
3. New Balance - simple but stands out
4. Saucony - lame
5. Tracksmith - they're fine - I think NB outdid them
6. Oiselle - always bad
7. Puma - nothing special
8. Hoka - boring
9. ON - slick
10. Asics - didn't notice them
11. Brooks - GET OVER HI-VIS YELLOW come up with something new
The best kit can become the worst kit when you see three hundred of them in the space of five minutes. How about some slight variation?

Aside from maybe Maggie Vessey one time, I can’t recall a woman running a track race in a g-string.
