I totally saw the eye roll and little smirk from Emma when Courtney mentioned Shelby.

That’s disgusting. It really is.
What a bunch of nitwits. Houlihan was screwing them over, and they’re too childish to understand that.
Unless they are doping too.
Do nike ahletes have to sign nondisclosure agreements?

NDAs don’t apply to illegal or improper activity. If a coach or Nike is providing PEDs, it is not a violation of an NDA to report that as it’s illegal.
I know they are friends.
I felt like it was disrespectful to the sport and to their competitors. Shelby wasn't DQ'ed unfairly. She doesn't have the universal support of the track world. We don't know what happened and neither do they. I don't know what they are doing constantly invoking Shelby's name at the freaking Olympic trials.
And I say this as someone who doesn't necessarily think Shelby is guilty. I saw Courtney at the press conference and she is gutted for Shelby. Between that and losing Colleen, there has to be a sense of normalcy that is taken away from her.
But Courtney has to respect the process and the fact that her competitors aren't seeing the same things she is. It's not fair to them and dredge up this subject standing by two competitors who may not feel the same way.
Get a life and stop harrassing people that are not brainwashed by CNN like you are.

Exactly. Follow the lead of the BTC men. Idc how good of friends you are. You just made the Olympics. Celebrate YOUR accomplishments. Make yourself likable on TV. Shoutout your sponsors. Talk about your family or your journey. Nobody wants to hear your sob story about your convicted doper teammate that makes you look guilty by association.
+1
They both should be barred from the US OLY team for doing apology of doping. Cheats out!
Courtney...You have a mental problem.

She's brainwashed and thinks this is woke twitter
Give Jerry a lie detector test from an independent person on whether he knew what nandralone is and whether he sent runners to Dr. Brown.
So I'm after a search for "Crowdfunding Convicted drugs cheats".
Google knows best:
A lot of people will do a load of lip service, but the buck stops when it comes down to *really* supporting a convicted cheat. C'mon Bowerman Babes, put your money where your mouths are.

She is unfortunately evidence that you don't have to be very bright to be a distance runner. Could she not see that supporting Houlihan after her conviction would be like another runner in Seoul '88 shouting out for Ben Johnson after his bust? Way to go.
This post was removed.
What don't you understand? She was clean when she set the records? Do you want her middle school ecords wiped out too?

When are her American Records going to be deleted from track and field?

An appalling assessment.
Some stars have reasonable explanations and proof for how small amounts of a banned substance may have inadvertently ended up in their system (Ajee, Brenda). Others have explanations that just strain credulity (Bauman, Holihan).
The process is designed to distinguish between athletes that intentionally dope and those that don't. It seems to be working the way it is supposed to work.
That's great.
All she has to do now is do the WEJO and get tested every single week for up to 2 years like WEJO said.
If she runs 3:58 or better then WEJO will believe her.

Regardless of SH's innocence or guilt. I understand why her friends might want to support her.
That said, I do not understand why they feel the need to do it in public.
How does that help SH or her situation? It actually makes it worse.
Unfortunately at this point it seems cringey and to me anyway doesn't put them in a good light.
(on a separate note, very poor analogy rojo)
Yeah and just like her millions of instagram followers.
They do the same crap within the steroid INFESTED powerlifting community.
If their favorite WWE wrestler or powerlifter takes steroids they don't care and they will support them no matter what. Yay.
You know why? Because they " worked" hard for it... Yay.
Hard work is so hard to do that literally everyone does it. Yay.
Bottomline is it doesn't count.
Do it naturally or don't do it at all.
If Shelby is such a great friend and very unjustly suspended, then why are we not seeing her socializing with other BTC runners and coaches? Emily Infeld posted pictures of a fun day on the river with lots of teammates - no Shelby. Shalane hasn't had her to the house to bake muffins and play with Jack. I am even seeing Instagram stories where current BTC athletes are hanging out with former BTC runners but, Shelby seems persona non grata. Apart from tepid, "doing this for Shelby" comments, the team is treating her as if she is highly radioactive.
Okay. She is guilty. That has nothing to do with her records.
