She pretty much front ran 3:58, put her in a fast race and she could get pulled to 3:54 easily. And now the next obvious question, Is she clean? We use to think it was crazy Dibaba ran 3:50, now American women are nearing the 3:54, 3:53 mark.

She's capable, but not yet. It's a big jump for sure and only takes one race though. For example, Shannon Rowbury was narrowing her 1500 down about a second or two each season before going from 3:59 to 3:56 to achieve the then American record. I say two years she lowers the American record.
Yes, I think she's clean. No, I don't think she can run 3:54.99. Maybe 3:56 low if she gets on a train? Regardless, she has enough speed to contend in the Olympics unless somebody goes crazy. I think her and Laura Muir are pretty similar athletes.

Purrier is a different style runner than Muir. I believe she could run 3:55-3:56 right now and 14:30. Muir while a great athlete is there off of speed only running 50 mpw. Purrier runs 80 mpw and it shows in races like today's. I think in a race with a long run for home or fast from the beginning, I'd pick Purrier to outlast Muir.
She negative split by like 5 seconds.
Shelby's record is 3:54.99.
Rowbury 3:56.29.
What can you predict from frontrunning a 3:58.03 with 2:09.19 first 800 and 2:04.mid last 800?
1s for frontrunning, 1s for splits? under Rowbury's time?
3:50 is not on the same planet as 3:58. hobbs kessler is about as close to 3:26.
I am sure she takes showers and practices good hygiene. So clean is very likely
I'm wondering if that little bump at the beginning made her run scared the rest of the race. That had to be a huge shot of adrenaline. I'm guessing she wouldn't have front run the entire race if that hadn't happened.
She is not clean unfortunately.
Of course she's not clean.

I think her improvements were more dramatic than Shelby's
Not clean. But she will be up against runners that are absolutely filthy. So there's that.

An Aussie ran 3.59 pretty much on her own earlier this year too. Those 3 are a chance for a medal, but hard to see any of them beating Kipyegon and they will struggle with whatever Ethiopians end up on the start line.
Is hassan doing the 5k-10k double?
This is my problem with getting 100% to “Shelby doped on purpose.”
I think Purrier is clean. If she’s clean; has made the massive leaps that she has since UNH; and just ran a 3:58, from the front, without a fast first 300, and after literally getting shoved off the track.... why wouldn’t Shelby be able to run 3:54 in a fast race?
Of course these two things aren’t mutually exclusive, but it’s similar to my feelings on Centro — if the primary assumption (in his case that he wasn’t doping while at Oregon) is valid, the following events seem completely possible.
Maybe my primary assumptions are wrong, or maybe they’re right and some people just dope.
Anyhow, I still don’t get why someone would believe in Purrier if they didn’t/don’t believe in Shelby.
Cause Shelby tested positive. I thought she was clean a week ago.
Absolutely certain that Purrier is clean.
You really can't be absolutely certain of what other people might do. A couple of weeks ago, nobody thought Shelby would test positive.

You were probably absolutely certain Houlihan was clean too (and maybe you still are).

looks nothing like her a few years later.

What if Purrier fails drug test for drinking unprocessed cow milk?
