Yes.

Yes.
It would be a major victory for Murphy to medal. Olympics ain’t the same thing as OT. You have to be mentally and physically ready for an unpredictable final.
Anybody who actually pays attention knows he was fit. People sleep on him way to much. Medal contender for sure for any of the three.
Expect the same sort of racing from Centro as well, I predict he once again shuts the haters up and punches the ticket to Tokyo.

He's a medal favorite that's for sure. I really liked how Jewett ran that race, balls to the wall from the very beginning. Probably took him ten seconds to run that final 50 meters, but he did it. Strong men's 800 team.

This.
Murphy has looked the best to me all trials. I can't see how he was overlooked after the semis. Only 5-6 weeks till the Olympics, time for a bit of recov, a good 4-week block and a taper. He can't go too far backwards in that time. Just don't get injured or sick.

Hoppel is coming off injury, he’s got time to potentially improve.
Michael Saruni has a fearsome kick. If he can get to the final he can drop a last lap like Murphy. Korir is a crazy talent.
Tuka/Rotich are aging so maybe not them. Great credentials though.
The Brits? Not so good as far as form overall. But all have potential. The Polish 400m hurdler is intriguing. Anyone else don’t know?
He negative split a 1:43 low. He’s got this.
There’re the two Canadians who are solid as well. Don’t think they can match either of Murphy’s all time great runs in Rio and here.

He had more, he was patient and did what he had to do to win. He could have made a move sooner and run faster, but he didn't have to.

splits of 51.67 then 51.50

Funny thing is you have to actually run in the race in order to win it.
Is this Olympics Big Makh-free?

Hopefully, he hasn't raced since the police found his gym bag full of syringes
No, I have to say I think Amos is the favorite at this point. But I would say Murphy is the favorite for silver and main contender.

Nope, but he ran an open 400 in 45.6 in April and a 3:44 in his first as a pro 1500 in May.
....Not to mention his 2019 800 sb was 1:41.89, the fastest in the world to date since Rudisha's 2012 WR!

45 high in a 400 though. That’s crazy speed.
