That will get rid of one non running topic they could bring up. I hope. Let's keep the discussion about running.

Did she run the first ever 1500m on pure hate, or have others done this before?
Her race is up there in pure hate history. As a historian of this exact topic, the last person to run a 1500 on pure hate was Mahiedine Mekhissi-Benabbad at the 2014 European Championships, launching the fastest 500 meter kick in history, after being DQed in the steeple.
WEST COAST GETS TV DELAY 3 HOURS! What's going on? Well, read about in on LetsRun.
Amazing! She ran with authority
Nah not even the first of this meet, Brenda Martinez 2016 1500m after falling in the 8
Webb demolished Stember in 2004 after Stember showboated the semis.
I loved how McGee tried to come on to her shoulder and not only did she hold her off with ease each time, she then unleashed the last 200. She was definitely fired up after getting pushed into the infield. I think before that she was thinking she could dust everyone from 800 out

Why? I’m sincerely curious.
Because she wants to be referred to as multiple people. Pretty wacko
Yeah, McGee cut in and pushed Hiltz who stumbled into Purrier.
Horrible mistake by her saying the F word on T.V. Not a fan of that! Shamrocks.
Her husband must be VERY PLEASED with his decision to marry this soon-to-be Olympian! Shamrocks.
Actually, it was the Nike athlete who bumped McGee which pushed her into Hiltz/Purrier. Too many people cutting in too close to the start.

It was a crazy human accordion that threatened to become the infamous Pre-Classic "1500 Pile Of Blondes" from 15 years ago.

It was Osaka who caused the malee of shoving not Elle's teammate Heather. And what a terrible title for this post regarding Elle's 1500 trials win! So happy for All three going to Tokyo!
The mess at the start was caused by Jenny Simpson who started in an outside lane and attempted to move sharply inside. She fought with and was beaten by Shannon Osika but instead of backing off continued to push her and that's why Osika basically flew in tilted way further to the inside lanes, pushing Nikki Hiltz into Elle Purrier.
Simpson didn't stop there. Rebecca Mehra had in the meantime cut in front of the now clear Simpson who put up her hand onto Mehra's upper arm and attempted to push her back outside, but taller Mehra responded with her elbows.
Looks like Simpson's job was to get up there with Purrier but she found her herself blocked in and resorted to pushing. Simpson should have been disqualified.
Who knows how much Simpson's pushing affected Osika. But without the mess at the start Hiltz would not have finished last.
Incorrect and watch again. I've paused through and rewatched it a dozen times. Yes, Osika and Simpson are battling and Simpson doesn't want to give up ground to Osika who is trying to cut in. Osika tries so hard to sprint past Simpson that she's completely out of control by the time she cuts her off and smashes into the pack. So glad Osika didn't make it after that BS.
Hlltz came crashing across, knocking through the pack like a a bowling ball. But... as a new member of a protected class, nuff said.
Out of control at this level? No. Osika had already cut in. Simpson should have backed off at this point. Instead she continued to push.
Then she went after Mehra. Simpson's look of frustration and then pressing her backhand against Mehra's upper arm is plain to see as is Mehra's elbowing in response.
Simpson's face was desperate or irritated through all of this.

They were like bowling balls but Hiltz was pushed herself.

After Mehra, Heather MacLean had also moved in front of Simpson, and then Simpson pushed her too!
Finally, Simpson backed up behind Mehra and went to pass on the outside.
