So I'm a high school freshman and consider myself more like a speedy type of runner rather than an endurance monster. My best event is the 800m and I recently ran a 2:11. My 5K PR is 18:30 from cross country season. I've been consistant in my training for the past few months (started to get some specific work for track season after taking a week off in march) and I peaked at around 30 miles per week. I took at least a day off every week. the thing is that since a month, I am not feeling great during my runs. I was able to run 8-9 miles long runs at about 7:30 pace easily and do some tempos at 6:20, but since my last 800m race, I'm feeling tired on almost every runs and can't run the same pace or duration. I feel like even if i'm running SLOW, 9-10 min pace, I will be tired, not because of a lack of fitness but because my legs are fatigued. I've took some 2-3 days off in the past weeks but it didnt help. There is one month left to my season and then i Plan to take a long break but I just want to finish it. Should I take 3 days off, 4 days off, a week of rest. You probably cant help me because you dont know me but I just want to see if you had something similar and what you did. Thanks
